The Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (short: DHBW) is a public higher education institution in Germany that offers a unique model of study combining academic theory with practical work experience. It operates in nine locations and three campuses throughout the state of Baden-Württemberg, offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in fields like business, engineering, social work, and healthcare. All under‐graduate programmes provide 210 ECTS credits, ensuring they are intensive and fully accredited both nationally and internationally. Students at DHBW work closely with partner companies, engage in alternating periods of theory (on campus) and practice (in companies), and are financially compensated during their practical phases. The university emphasizes international cooperation, student exchanges, and curricula that prepare graduates for careers in an increasingly globalised environment.

The so-called “Duales Studienstipendium”, allegedly funded by Bundesinstitut für Berufsbildung (BIBB), is currently being advertised on the internet and social media channels, with the DHBW, amongst others, named as a partner university. The DHBW wishes to point out that the claim that it is a partner university for this programme is incorrect. The DHBW has no connection whatsoever with this programme and expressly distances itself from it.
